Why are some of the buttons disabled (grayed out)?

Generally, when looking at a list of items in one of the portals, the buttons at the top of the work list will appear active in a clickable color.

If these buttons are gray/disabled, it likely means you have selected more than one item in a list. Make sure to select only one item.

If that does not work, try reloading the screen by clicking the refresh icon in the upper right side of the screen or by pressing Shift + F5 on your keyboard.

Note

Regardless of which portal you are working in or which screen you are viewing, if you select more than one item, this may disable the action buttons. With some exceptions, you can usually only perform actions on one item at a time.
